I’ve been an ANUSA General Representative, a Senior Resident at Wright Hall, and a co-convenor of the Environment Collective. Student activism is more important than ever. ANUSA is an activist body that exists to fight for students. The General Secretary looks after the rules and meetings of the association but this role is best done by someone who knows governance exists to help, not hinder, fearless activism and advocacy. I have policies to fight bureaucratisation, increase transparency and accountability and hand more decision-making power to every student.
