Heya!
Firstly, thanks for taking the time to vote! It’s cliche, but every vote counts, and it’s more important now than ever to have an effective student union that gets sh!t done. I’m Sinead (she/her), and I’d be honoured to be your inaugural Welfare Officer and NUS delegate in 2022. Within my role as Disabilities Officer this year, I’ve shown that I’ll operate within this student union and this university for students, and I’d like to believe that I’ve proven myself as a strong and effective student advocate. I hope to bring my personal experience as a working student and first-generation student to the forefront of this role, and because of this, I understand what resources students need from our union.
