My name is ZhenHui (Sebastian) Gu, I am a third-year undergraduate studying accounting and IT. I am the current Education Director and my role is creating excellent career and academic opportunities specifically for international students. In my residential accommodation, I am a Senior Resident whose main duty is providing pastoral care and organising social, educational and entertainmnent events for students living on campus. I also have extensive work experience, my recent project is the CBE Special Industry Project with the Australian superannuation funds.
My manifesto:
- Enhance the university experience of international students on campus and overseas with more networking opportunities.
- Promote and expand the ISD circle.
- Provide a platform for international students to have their voice being heard as well as support for minority groups.
- Promote an inclusive environment and strengthen respectfulness among international social groups and individuals.
- Continue my endeavour in creating academic and career opportunities for international students.
