I’m Eugene (he/him) a Finance, Economics and Statistics student and current ISD Social Director. Transition to university might be hard for most of you this year. Lack of social interactions and support might make your life worse as an international student. I believe everyone had a rough start this year especially for international students, but you are not alone!
Here is the summary of my policies:
- Providing volunteering opportunities to assist international students with professional and personal development while having fun, meeting new people and having some time away from studies.
- Provides jobs and internships workshop for international students.
- Build and facilitate a platform for international students to voice out their opinions.
- Collaborate with other cultural clubs to promote culture sharing.
- Build more support for international students in residential halls.
