Hi ANU! I’m Brandon (he/him) and I have adored my time here in Canberra so far, currently in my first year studying Political Science. I’ve made the decision to run for your vote in this year’s elections because I strongly believe in the power of a progressive ANUSA to make the lives of students easier and ensure that no one gets left behind during their time here.
From living on campus within a student community, I’ve had opportunities to hear from my peers about what issues in their university lives are important to them on a day-to-day basis. With ACTION! for ANUSA, I have drafted a relevant campaign platform that can immediately be actioned by ANUSA and will tangibly produce real positive outcomes for students around three key priorities: the provision of urgent financial relief; improved mental health & student support infrastructure; and a more equitable and inclusive ANU.
