Hey everyone, I'm Sam (he/him), a second-year law/arts student and I am running also to be one of your delegates to the national conference of the National Union of Students (NUS) this year! I wholeheartedly believe in the NUS. I believe that ANUSA must remain in the NUS because by working through a peak body representing students across Australia, instead of every university student union for themselves, we can change things for university students for the better. The NUS is not perfect, and if elected as an NUS delegate I will hear out your suggestions you want me to raise while at the national conference before attending. I won't play games at the NUS or waste your support by not making ANU heard. I'll be a constructive delegate, wholly believing in the potential of our national union of students.
