Writing one of these is almost as daunting as being asked to introduce yourself in front of a group and say three things about you, but I’ll give it my best shot. I am running for a position on the ANUSA SRC and as an NUS Delegate for my motivating belief that we need a more consistently visible student representative body at the ANU. A body which held to account on the initiatives it undertakes with the wider ANU student community at heart.
Additionally, being originally from Regional NSW and politically aware growing up, a virtue I wanted to see more of in politics is representation, and collaboration. If successful I want to investigate proposals for ANU to become more inclusive of various backgrounds, and continually advocate for a better student experience at University. Everyone has an opinion worth listening to, and I always strive for that on ANUSA.
