As a General Representative of the Association, I promise to be a voice for students and always have the backs of my fellow students. I will also endeavour to rebuild ANU’s sense of community and solely focus on on-campus problems. All students deserve to be treated with love and respect, which I don’t think is always the case. I will work to restrict fringe groups that attempt to harass, radicalise by manipulation, and do not improve campus culture. The welfare of students is my number one priority, and I will always stand up for what I believe will positively impact students. This will be observable through my advocation for students who require financial aid and mental health assistance. The role of the Association is to improve students’ wellbeing, and I believe I can do that.
