As Treasurer of the Association, I will focus on finding alternative revenue streams to the Student Services and Amenities Fee. It is extremely unfair to rely on the students to contribute such a large portion of the ANUSA funding, so we need to find other avenues. Further, it is unreasonable to reward the Executive with considerably large pay while there are students who are barely able to afford essential supplies. Finally, it is increasing the funding allocated to mental health services is critical, especially after the repercussions of ACT’s lockdown on many students’ mental health.
