As Education Officer of the Association, I will ensure effective dialogue between myself and the students to best uphold their interests. I do not believe that the role of the Education Officer should be to create and implement one's own policies, but rather aim to engage with the students and work around what works best for them. I intend to encourage the Association to increase the allocation of funding for student programs like Student Meals, in addition to advocating for more scholarships offered to students from low-SES backgrounds. My main goal in this position will be to eliminate as much pressure from the students as possible.
