Hi, I’m Phoenix O’Neill (they/she) and I’m running to be a National Union of Students delegate. As a queer* non-binary woman, I would like to hold the NUS more accountable for its participation in queer activism. s a delegate, I would push the NUS to create radical policy that will directly benefit Queer students on ANU campus and nation-wide and I will push for the NUS Queer Officers to reach out to campus collectives and the Australian Queer Students Network to build a grassroots national campaign to protect Queer students on campus. I would consult our 2022 Queer* Officer throughout the process. I plan on sitting with the Grassroots Independents because they're a left-wing faction that doesn't bind your votes.
